    Have faith in God!

Ever wondered why Jesus said …

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
    ---
    Mark 11:22

… and why He did not say …
    "Believe in God!"

Is believing in God and having faith in God … not the same?

Love … goes all the way!

Love is not just a word or a concept …
Love is not just a feeling or an emotion …
Love is not a physical action or an experience …
    and ...
Love is not only an attribute or characteristic of God!

    No!
Love is all of that … and much more!

    Love is God Himself!

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
    ---
    1 John 4:8

    Therefore ...
... unless you know love ...
... unless you know how to love ...
    then the Bible says ...
    ... you don't know God!

    I do NOT know you!

    Although the Bible instructs us
    to get closer to God,
… and to get to know Him and His ways,
yet when we read the parables
Jesus told in Matthew and Luke,

… it seems that for Jesus to know us
    is even more important…

    ''Afterward the other virgins
    came also, saying,
    'Lord, Lord, open to us!'
    But he answered and said,
    'Assuredly, I say to you,
    I do not know you...
    --- Matt. 25:1-12

There is no reason to believe
that everyone mentioned in this parable
was not known to the Lord.

Everyone was invited to the feast,
… they were all known by name,
    their home addresses etc.
    were obviously also known.

    Everyone was expected!

    Yet, in the end,
... not everyone was let in …

    Why not?

In Rom. 9:13 God Himself said ...
Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
    Does that mean that ...

    God despised Esau?
God could not reach out to Esau?
    God favoured Jacob?
