Love ... Agape ... to give without expectation ...
Is it really possible to give without expecting anything in return?
Would one not at least expect that your gift be accepted?
???
Has anyone ever given totally without expectation?

When God gave Jesus ...

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Did God put any expectation on that gift?
No! …
He gave without any expectation or obligation …
... without pressure on anyone to accept His gift!
…
When Jesus gave Himself …

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this
present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
--- Gal 1:4

Did Jesus put any expectation on His giving of Himself?
No! …
He gave without any expectation …
… or pressure on anyone to accept His gift!
... but ...
He did the Father's will … whether or not man would ever accept it!
(Luke 22:42)

When the Holy Spirit came to live in us …

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all
truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Did the Holy Spirit come with any expectations?
No! …
… not even to speak on His own accord …
… but He came …
… willing and ready to Comfort, Guide, Teach & Help us …
… whether we expect, receive or even appreciate it!

God is love … and He loves to give …
... without obligation or expectation …
For He gives in faith ... knowing it will be received
and …
He gives as much … as we dare to receive!
