LINKING INTO ... GOD'S ... NATURE!

What connects us to the image of God, … this nature, this potential … in God? This image that is or should be our image… Faith! For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. --- Rom 1:17 A way of living … a life style, In fact, it is an expression of what is in us, … that reveals or shows up God’s righteousness in our lives.	However, opposite to what we normally expect, … it is not something that God does, But, it is from the inside, from what I DO! Therefore James writes this about faith … Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. --- James 2:17 Although God has given us His faith, and Although God is the power in or behind covenant, Both faith and covenant are actions! Both faith and covenant are activated by us!

What connects us to the image of God,

This image that is or should be our image…
Faith!

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed

as it is written,

LIFE IS WHAT ... YOU ... MAKE OF IT!

Covenant Ministries and the Covenant “Kidz” Centre have as their primary objective the release and nurturing of the awareness of self image and self value in everyone, and in particular in the lives of the Kids and the Street Kids at the Covenant Centre.	Life & Trade Skills Projects To develop and indeed realise these Life skills in the lives of the Kids, Covenant Ministries has established the development of “Life and Trade Skills” projects at the Covenant Kids Centres. These projects are specifically aimed at training the Kidz in addition to their regular schooling and education, the necessary skills for adult life. Real life projects in which the Kids are not only trained and skilled, but in which they are also equipped with resources as well as given the opportunities to practise and fully develop those skills, ... with the express goal to release them into adult life, established in a vocation, trade or business.

Small beginnings! Joseph & Wycliffs Chicken Run! Joseph & Wycliff have started a poultry project, primarily to produce eggs for sale in the local community and supermarkets. Having purchased a dozen chicks, they are firstly increasing the number of laying hens out of the hatchlings, to over 100, after which they will concentrate on the egg production and eventually also sell live hens once the egg production profitable. Over and above them laying a good financial base for their futures, they aim to also sow into similar projects to help other Street Kids.	Collins Banana Plantation! Carols Pumpkin Patch! Together with the launch of Covenant Centres Street Kids Development Project, we have also started group projects with the younger children to help teach them some basic life skills as well as fostering the understanding of value and responsibility! receive their blessing!
