| LIFE … yes, what is life? What is man? Well, those were exactly the thoughts that David pondered on which resulted in him asking God the following question, When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon & the stars, which You have ordained. What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? You have made him a little lower than the angels, (Elohim/God) And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands You have put all things under his feet, --- Psalm 8:3-6 |
It was obvious to David that man is not
just a pawn,
… that man is not just a “per chance happening” the result of some Big Bang that no one can explain! No, David was convinced in himself, that man is part of a special plan of God’s, and not the result of an unexplainable happening, but indeed the object of a very special purpose, … the purpose of a superior being, God!! So in response to this obvious conclusion, David formulated this very pertinent question to God Himself… What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? --- Psalm 8:4 Yes indeed, What is man, really? What is life all about? |

Praise Report ![]() Things have turned around in my life and home. |
Beginning with the Covenant Bible courses. I had never been to a bible class before and this was an opportunity that I knew I dared not miss. After completing the courses, I sought to establish my relationship with God. Through this relationship I got to understand why God created me and to better know what I am able to do. Secondly comes the part on sowing! Having come from Nairobi to Kitale, where I am happily married, the principle of sowing and reaping had not been part of my life and I didnt see how it could work. But here I had an opportunity to minister to children at the Covenant Center, where we could empty the closet of our house of clothes and give it to the center. From the Covenant Courses, I learnt about love, and not to give to get anything in return, I gave because I loved, and the more I gave the more our house was filled with more clothes. What a blessing! What seeds are you sowing? At the moment our house is full of clothes, we don’t buy them, they just come. At the same time I am also running a small business which is getting along okay. This principle can be applied in every area of your life. I have also learnt to relate with people more than before, and it’s bearing fruit. I don’t have to talk much to convince anyone. People look at what is happening in our lives and ask, then we have an opportunity to share with them. Amen. Elizabeth Mudenyo |
