God's word is full of wonderful promises! And He wants all those promises to be real in our lives, … even when we don't really believe it or expect it! "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God: --- Deut 28:1-(8) Throughout the Bible we read ... that God wants to bless us, … that God wants to shower us with blessings!	In fact God even encourages us to choose blessings! I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live. --- Deut 30:19 That we need to choose … is obvious! That we choose blessing … is obvious! But just making a choice, ... that you want to be blessed, … is not going to change anything! What does making a choice really mean? And ... What should I be doing in making a choice?

In fact God even encourages us to choose blessings!

Inauguration!

Not every church looks the same, or is the same,
and in particular when it is right in the middle between
the poorest part of town and an Industrial area,
it certainly does make you think!
BUT... when you consider all the "more convienent" places
Pastor Dawson wanted to place the church, and now you look
at the congregation, after just 2 months, made up of businessmen
and the residents and children, of an area considered a slum,
Covenant City Church is in exactly the right place!

Not every day is the same... and for sure, not every Graduation Day is the same!
And Nandi Hills, in the heart of the Kenya was certainly not an exception!

It rained outside, as it so often does in Nandi Hills,

... and it rained,

and it rained... and it rained... and it rained...

... "blessings" on the inside ...

Applying God's principles	... practically to life!

Praise Report Pastor Joseph Kutoh - Nandi Hills	At almost 70 years of age, pastor Kutoh has been a pastor for more years than he can remember, and all those years it has been his dream to be allowed to baptise new converts in his congregation ... but ... Because he never had the opportunity and financial means to receive formal Bible training or to attend a Bible School, and as a result thereof, had never been awarded a Certificate, ... his denomination and church would not allow him to baptise! Therefore when pastor Kutoh heard of the Covenant Disciples Bible Course and the possibility of receiving Bible School Training right there where he lives and ministers, and that without the cost of attending a Bible School, he saw his dream of being allowed to baptise converts, before he dies, about to come true! On the 19th of August 2006 he was awarded the Covenant Disciples Bible Course Certificate! Not only has his his lifelong dream been fulfilled, but having done the Covenant Disciples Bible Course, and having himself experienced its real value, he's encouraging his family and church to do it as well!

Behold, a sower went out to sow.
And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside
Some fell on stony ground … And some seed fell among thorns …
But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up,
increased & produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.
