Throughout the Bible we are not just encouraged,
… but instructed to glorify God,
And man in responding to that,
… has been quick to say that he or she does glorify God!
BUT …
What does it really mean to glorify God?

Does it mean to …

Worship God and give Him praise?
Display God’s goodness?
Dwell in His presence?

To correctly answer that, let’s see what the Bible Dictionaries have to say about “glory” and “glorifying”

Glory ... the weighty heaviness of God's presence! ... abundance, reputation, riches Glorify ... to cause someone’s worth to become manifest ... to impart to or render it excellent Glorifying therefore is much more than just saying something, … but involves character, ability and manifestation… For the same reason also King David asked God about man, … and about that relationship between God and man!	In answering David, God not only confirmed man's special place and position, but God also referred to a special characteristic or ability, (Gen.1:26) ... of His that He bestowed on man, saying … ... and You have crowned him with glory and honour. --- Psalm 8:5 Why did God do that?

Graduations - Leadership Training
Rift Valley & Western Kenya

Five months after the establishing a
Covenant Disciple Training Centre
in the small market villige of Kiminini
on the Kitale Webuye main road,
and having duly completed the
Covenant Disciples Foundation Bible Course,
seven very jubilant pastors were awarded
their Foundtion Course Certificates.

Their goal however is to continue to develop
the Training Cntre and to begin a new
Foundation Course class with another group,
whilst themselves completing the entire
Advanced Course, and have indeed since
started on the Advanced Course class.

After introdcing the Covenant Diciples Bible
Courses to the Sonrise Ministry group of
churches in April this year,
they decided to adopt the courses as the
foundation for training their pastors and leaders.
Their leadership group started the courses
immediately, completing the Foundation Courses
in September and were awarded their Foundation Certificates in Webuye.

The rest of their local pastors and church elders
will now be given the opportunity to study the courses, both the Foundation as well as the Advanced,
and we look forward to the next graduation.

Applying God's principles	... practically to life!

From the time that I joined Covenant Ministries and listened to Pastor Jan teach about image and likeness of God, I was so preturbed and thought the whole week about why things were negatively affecting me since I am made in the image and likeness of God.
I made up my mind from to walk a different course.
Instead of waiting for things to happen, I do things, I make things happen.
I went back to my place of work, and wrote on the wall, I will be fruitful.
The rest is history.

My hair studio has trippled its income, so has the number of employees, and the profit margin. It is a small hair place but from it we pay our rent, our workers, with enough left over to enjoy life with God ... and to give. My intention is to giving a portion of whatever we get to Covenant Ministries for p ositively impacting my life. I have also requested all our employees to study the Covenant courses so they can establish a strong relationship with God and also change the way they see themselves.
