I am ... the Way!


The Bible tells us that - Jesus is the only way!
As Jesus Himself confirmed,
… and in His own words,

Jesus said to him,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
 --- John 14:6

    A clear statement that is easy to quote,
But, if we are honest with ourselves (as we should be),
As easy as it is to quote,
… what does it really mean?

What did Jesus mean when He said
… I am the way!

How is He the way and the life?

What does it actually mean that
… Jesus is the only way?


The Only Way!

A statement that has led to uncertainty and even opposition,
… and has also raised many questions and discussions!
Why?
Because it confronts and affects our lives … personally!

Therefore we need to find out …
Read ... Jesus ... the Way! ... here!
The Riches...of His inheritance!


When one reads Ephesians chapter 1,
… and in particular Paul’s prayer in verses 17-19,
one gets a picture of the great things God has prepared for us,
… and the wonderful things God wants to do in our lives!

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit
of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened;
that you may know what is the hope of His calling,
what are the riches of the glory
of His inheritance in the saints,
and what is the exceeding greatness of
His power toward us who believe,
according to the working of His mighty power,
 --- Eph. 1:17-19

It seems that at the centre of his prayer, Paul refers to
… the glorious riches of our inheritance through Christ!

And yes, this is central to this portion of scripture …

However, what is the reality of this inheritance?

Is it ...

A rich and glorious inheritance?
The glory of a rich inheritance?
The riches of the glory of the inheritance?
Or …
Does it really not matter anyway?

Stepping into the River of God's Goodness & Blessing!

... blessing I will bless you,
and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven
and as the sand which is on the seashore;
and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
because you have obeyed My voice."
 --- Gen 22:17-18

God showed us a picture of how we have been teaching and ministering to people,
... and exhorting them to step out into a personal relationship with God, in faith, in Him!

God also showed us how His goodness and blessing will be released on the earth,
like the Nile at its source is filled with goodness & nourishment, then carries
 this flood of goodness through the dry desert places to the people,
people who are waiting for this flood of goodness and potential
a people equipped with utensils, prepared for this time!
Yet ...
when it arrives, in the midst of this goodness and potential,
... they do nothing!

God, I believe, is telling us that His goodness and blessing is coming,
... are you prepared, and are you preparing others?
not just for the outpouring ...
but to step into the goodness and work with the blessing,
being fruitful and expressing God's Glory on the earth!
