Having read Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 & 2, it is obvious that something happened between these 2 verses, that affected not just the state of the earth, but also had an impact on creation. What was it that happened in heaven during that time? What direct results did this have on earth & creation? Did it have any direct bearing on the creation of man? What happened in heaven is related for us in the writings of Ezekiel and in the writings of Isaiah, and as we study these scriptures, many of the questions we have about creation and the state of the earth at that time will be answered. "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. "By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones. The origin and existence of mankind has always been a contentious topic, and subject to much discussion and as much disagreement. What is the origin of mankind? Where does mankind come from? What is the purpose of mankind anyway? How did man get to where he is today? Although there are many theories, the reality of it all is that man or mankind is not an accident, man did not come out of nothing nor is man a chance being. And, even if one accepts any one of the theories such as for instance the “BIG BANG”, it still does not prove anything, because one question still remains … Who pushed the button? Life, in whichever form it may be or has developed, comes from LIFE! And that LIFE, which without argument is the source of all life, is in fact LIFE Himself … and is also the source of the life that is in man! And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. --- Gen. 2:7 The authoritative source for information on life, its origin, its existence, its perpetuity and its reason is surely in the writings of the Creator and/or the Source of life, God!
